Musings From a Rich Life - A BLOG

Student project circa 2007 with reporting by Nicky Snide.

20 Years after the Rwandan Genocide

Rich Beckermeyer April 8, 2014

Back in college I did a piece with classmate who has gone on to become a very successful broadcast journalist. Nicky (Bylingero) Snide forever opened my eyes to the Rwandan genocide. Later, I found an image from James Nachtwey that further informed my perspective of the horrors of human on human violence. To all who have survived, overcome and thrived in new adopted countries, I salute you.
